'97 Round Hill Zin, St. Helena, Calif.

Picked this up for $5.99, 13.5% alc/vol
Very simple, straight forward, non-oaked Zin. Dark garnet/ruby with a nice briary, earthy zinberry nose. Soft flavors of dark fruit, earth and cola, slightly flabby. Decent finish. WS rated 79, which I think is a little low. A little more acidity and this would be a best buy....well worth the $5.99. 5000 cases made.
