This proprietory blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet, and Merlot has become one of my favorites from the many Duckhorn offerings. Juciy, powerful fruit up-front makes this a delightful drink when young but it also has the stuff-n-such to grow some whiskers gracefully. Deep ruby. Nose of straw, rasp, and blueberries came on after 45 minutes in the glass. Solid entry, weighty center a 4+-lapper finish. 90/90. 39 by the box. 14.9% alc. WW

Had anopther of these for lunch today. A very stylized wine that exhibits all the best of it's componets. With its' balanced struicture this wine should age gracefully for 5-10. Nose becoming more pronounced but not enough to change the scoring. TASTY styff. WW

i really like the paraduxx, too - very juicy stuff. and think i scored it right where the weener did. but to me the value's just not there on this wine. i can get lotsa zins (ridge, ravenswood, renwood and even hartford) that i like better and cost less -- sometimes a lot less.
