'05 Becker Vineyards Merlot

Made with grapes from five Texas vineyards - two of Becker's in the Hill Country, and three in the High Plains, giving it more complexity than your average Texas Merlot. Nice fruit, enough stuffing to stand up to oak-grilled tri-tip with baked spuds, peas, spinach salad. 13% alc/vol and about $14 by the case at the winery in Stonewall last month.
