Merryvale Merlot 1997

I tried the Merryvale Merlot 1997 few days ago, and it is absolutely beautiful.

Someone here share the same idea?

Haven't had Merryvale's 97 merlot, but have had many others from them (I'm on their list). Merryvale is a solid producer, IMHO. Their 98 reserve merlot is decent, albeit a bit oaky, and I've yet to try their 99 reserve.

Hi CS and yeppo, the 97 is a super merlot as is about everything they released on 97. Their Profile rated a classic 97, the Beckstoffer a 95 and their Reserve cab a solid 90. Pretty impressive lineup. ( The 98's I passed on ). WW
