Tasted this from our rep yesterday. Absolutely beautiful; hands down the best Merlot I've been tasted on this year. Pricey, though - about $44.99 here in our joint.

Here's the info from his website.

The grapes used to craft the Steele Stymie Founder’s Reserve Merlot were grown by Floyd and Jolene Silva in their Shady Rest Vineyard. The Shady Rest Vineyard is located on a gravelly bench, overlooking the Big Valley area of Lake County. An ideal location for growing Merlot vines.

Thanks KC. I've had a Lake County Zin from Steele but thought he might have been sourcing these grapes from Washington.
