2003 Erba Mountainside Merlot

Drinks like smooth chocolate and cinnamon spice with velvety tannins that exhibit a firm grip in the beginning and warms out throughout the mouth with that black fruit and currant that bleeds out into a nice soft finish. Solid.

WW sorry for the late response but Erba is located below Atlas Peak. I dont think there's a traditional tasting room, and I think the grapes are Atlas Peak and the winery is virtual...go figure! I will tell you that its a very well balanced merlot and I think the tannic structure is absolutely magnificent. To be consumed with one of those gourmet cheeseburgers you talked about.
