A blend of Merlot, Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Some rich fruit and chocolate notes but was overwhelmed by the oak and vanilla flavors. This was a hit with my wife and her girl friends at the Ocean but a miss for me. $25. 14.1% Alc/vol.

I used to drink Beringer wines on a regular basis, until somebody there got hold of a bunch of barrels. The winery seems to have invested in more oak than in grapes.
