2003 Bogle Merlot

Nice for $10.99 (Downtown Boston...what can you say??)

Good dark fruits up front but not a fruit bomb! Dense flavors! but perhaps not as velvety as I had expected. Some fleeting sense of tobacco, smokey wood. Perhaps acida and tannins still a bit youthful and finish was long.

Nice bottle though!

TE the Bogle has been a favorite producer for years for the members of the board. They make great P/Q wines in almost every varietal. Probably more posts than any other vineyard under the Best Buy thread. WW
