Torciano Merlot Del Veneto 2002

I'm not shur where I got this wine. It may be one that a friend of my daughter gave me after her wedding. They don't drink wine and had a few bottles left.

I had it tonight with pork loin. I believe it had what you all call a barnyard smell. Although, I was thinking it was wines other than Merlot that was described with that charistic. I did like it. In my 1-5 scale I would give it a 3.5.
