1998 Jade Mountain, Merlot, Caldwell Vineyard, Napa Valley, $38, 1,235 cases. Raspberries dominate the nose. Elegant on the palate, this medium-bodied wine has lovely raspberry and blackberry fruit, dusty/chalky minerals and rounded tannins. Can be enjoyed now.
