I've fallen in love with merlot wines, but most of the wines I've tasted have firm tannin. I'm looking for a quality merlot with soft tannin.

Hi C and welcome to the Wine Board. Try Bogle and Blackstone. If they are still too crass for you, try Sutter Home. If none of those work go back to the merlots you fell in love with, because I would love to know what they are.
