'99 Coppola Blue Label Merlot

Here's an exceedingly smooth wine, with subtle fruit flavors and very round, tame tannins. Not a lot of extraction and depth, but a very pleasant drink of wine, and a great value. If you need a bottle of red for someone trying their first red wine, this would be a great choice. Should cellar for 3-5 years. Mid- to high-80's score.
