2003 Dry Creek Meritage

What a neat wine for the price. Deep color, simple, fruity nose with a some oak, wood, round, lush in the mouth, ripe fruits, good structure, not flabby or falling over itself in anyway. Decent drink for $13. This was a takeaway from a friend's wedding. Exporter of the wine sat beside me, surprised that this had been the choice. I'd say that he did good in the selection part.
