The importer, Epicurean Wines, brought this into Esquin for us to sample yesterday. This has got to be one of the mostr aromatic wines I've ever sampled. The nose is INTOXICATING, briary, sweet, a tad grassy, and so berry-soaked it was like smelling a pot of homemade jam on the stove. The flavors followed through beautifully, with a nice little tinge of eucalyptus and blueberry amongst all that blackberry, plum, coffee, and sweet limestone. Beautiful wine, AND the importer is discontinuing it, so the bottle that used to sell for about $28 will now come in under $20.
