Barossa Valley.
Blend of old-vine Shiraz, Grenache, Mourvedre, Muscadelle, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Blackberry, mint and chocolate on the nose.
Huge fruit. Wonderfully layered blackberry, black and red fruits, mint, chocolate and hints of spice, tar and vanilla. Really big but not goopy. The finish is very long and viscous. Opened way too early but bought a six pack at $20 per and wanted to try one. Will wait 5 to 8 before opening another. 15.5% Alc/vol.
