Last night sisterdear and her hubby hosted a delicious birthday dinner for me. Filet mignon, etc. One friend brought a Yellowtail Cabernet/Merlot?/something else?blend which was fine. Another brought a bottle of The Little Penguin Merlot which is new to me. It was very good. He said he just grabbed the first bottle of Merlot that he saw by the register. We all liked it. Haven't seen any posts on it. Anybody ever try it?

It is a fairly new mass market brand from one the congloms over there, similar to Yellow Tail that is put out by one of their competitors.

I tried Little Penguin Merlot tonight. It is very good. I already called my dad (a merlot drinker) to tell him about it. I usually don't care for the 'red wines' but this is really good! I am going to take a bottle to my parent's house tomorrow to celebrate mother's day/my dad's b-day..I know he'll love it.
