13.5% alcohol--Virgin refers to unwooded.
Pale gold color similar to Chardonnay-based Champagne. Varietal aroma that doesn't fit neatly into the usual descriptors--close to pear or grapefruit maybe but not really either (label says peach and melon but I didn't get either of those on on the nose).
Balanced wine with an almost chewy mouthfeel and lingering finish. It dressed up simple dinner of fish sticks, tomato/red onion/cucumber slices marinated in oil and tarragon vinegar, and dessert of fresh peach and strawberries. Would also be a good match for lobster, crab, scallops or other fish such as halibut or tilapia.

"Virgin refers to unwooded"

Glad you explained, I was wondering if the pollination was divine intervention...

Yeah, and a "Virgin Mary" is a nonalcoholic Bloody Mary--what's the fun in that? This does not have the alcohol removed--only the chewing on a toothpick syndrome.
