1999 Xanadu Cabernet Sauvignon

After their nice Shiraz, I couldn't keep my grubby hands of the cab yesterday at a family gathering.
Dark in the glass with rich cassis scents and like flavors with black currant, spice and a hint of dark cocoa. Mid palate tannins and a little heat from the 14.5% Alc. is detected prior to the long finish. Realllly good QPR for $10.50. They also make a merlot, which I'll pick up when I return for a mixed case of the cab and shiraz.
