Weirdest wine of the year for me. When poured a lovely aroma of brite cherry fruit and spices hit the nose like a scrum. First taste almost numbed my tongue with the highest acidity I've encountered in a cab. Darn near poured this puppy in the terlit but the phone rang and I got into a 30-40 minute discussion with one of the daughters. Came back and decided to give it another shot and lo' n' beholden if the fruit had come into balance, kinda. After another 1/2 hour it setteled into drinkability but never into the type of wine I enjoy. Strange hummer. Thank goodness I only have this 1 bottle. No score. 38 and 13.4% alc. WW

That's too bad.... Don't remember what the '98 was like. The '04 on the other hand is absolutely stunning. Only have 1 bottle also, in magnum, and can't wait.
