Greetings,
I was just wondering about the specific break-up of the 20-point system used to score wines in Australian Wine Shows. I think the basics are 4 for appearance, 6 for aroma and 10 for taste, but I was looking for something more specific.

I have found a couple of break-downs on the web, but these seem to be American or personal ratings, not what I believe to be the standard ones used for rating wines in shows in Australia.

Just interested in conducting my own scores/ratings for fun.

that is exactly what I think of rating wine: it is fun for some; however, it is just about useless for everyone else...

Tom: You might try AusWine.com or http://web.ecomplanet.com/kwfc4971/ or http://www.winevault.co.uk/intro.html
These are some sites on Australian wine...I think I may go check those out myself, so I'll let you know if I find anything.
