Something as light and sweet as possibe. My girlfriends parents are making the meal, and they usually drink blush "wine" out of a box with a few ice cubes in it. Would a Riesling be my best bet?

You bet. Go for an M-S-R Spatlese or a Rheingau Kabinett.

Thanks guys-
Went with a V.D.P. (is that right?) semi-dry Kabinett Riesling. Can't recall the producer, but it was bursting with fruit, and a huge success all around! All for only $15.
I didn't let them touch the ice.
