McLaren Vale.
A very nice shiraz given the goopy fruit driven monsters that are plentiful in most wine shops. Deeply colored and full bodied, this wine shows ripe blackberry flavors at first then red fruit and raspberry flavors kick in mid to back palate with hints of tar and tobacco. The finish is long with medium grained tannins providing structure. I'll be buying more. 14.5%Alc/vol. $18.99
