This killer blend from the makers of Henry's Drive, Parsons Flat, and Dead Letter Office is a rite on winner. 57% Cab, 32% Shiraz, and 11% Merlot this fruit forward, spicy, floral bottling is now the new Gott bin 815 in the weeners' cellar. Solid entry, medium center and a 3&3/4 lapper finish there's enough complexity and finish to drink as a sipper and makes a super food wine. 88/92 9.99 by the box.15% alc. WW

Had another last night. Even better now that shipping shock has worn off.

Upon this rec, we enjoyed this one over a couple nights recently. Runs $12 in these parts, but we still liked it. We'll be buying it again. Thanks for the tip!

I paid $9.99 plus tax for mine. Just had it this week and I enjoyed it. Dense, dark purple in the glass; opaque. Fruit-driven, smooth-tasting, not tannic. Black fruits such as currants and blackberries in the flavors, matching the nose. The Cabernet Sauvignon probably dominates but it does reflect the blend of red varieties and is not Bordeaux-like. Feels like extracted particles are present, but is still an enjoyable, quaffable wine. Doesn't taste overly hot from the 15% alcohol by volume, but the impact of the alcohol was felt in a slightly tipsy feeling after two 5-oz. glasses.

Just picked up a few...will post when I return from.... W I N N I P E G......

Sorry I love my Canadian Cities...but Winterpeg in March leaves a bit to be desired.

BTW, I once stayed for a bit in a city called Waterloo. The residents are called ...umm... Waterloosers by the rival residents from other cities.
