2001 Leconfield, Coonawarra, Old Vines Riesling ($14 SHWC). Bone dry, giving intense citric character on the nose and upfront. This followed by spiciness and fresh crisp acidity across the palate, and a long finish. Three of us killed two bottles last night with home smoked turkey, oven baked stuffing, and baby peas. All went splendidly together. Wine drinks very well now, but should improve over the next three to seven years.
