Stunning bottle. Deep ruby. Nose alive with spicy, plummy, earth, and loads of red fruit. The palate has all of the above in spades. Solid entry, weighty center, and a 4+-lapper finish. One of the 5 best shiraz' I've had in over a year. Explosive fruit. 91/90. 38 by the box. 15% alc. WW

oh, those 98 shirazes were remarkable. all i have left is one bottle of the penfold's bin 389. i dread opening it because then that'll mean no more 98s for me!

Had this lovely for lunch today with a killer Tri-Tip that I marinated for 3 days. This has evolved even more in the last year+ that moves this hummer up a point to a solid 92. Still needs another 2-4 that could take this sucker up another pernt. REALLY good juice. WW

Recently picked up the '04 version; a 3 pack in 750s and 1 mag. I believe the '04 to be a similar year to '98; although others are saying the '05 is closer.

I tell ya, I have several bottles of the '98 Pirramima and haven't seen a bottle anywheres age as well as this is. '98 was truly a stellar year for Oz.
