Friday evening at the Pinehurst Food and Wine Festival we had a round of heavy appetizers with tastings from all the vintners and wineries represented in the festival followed by desserts with dessert wines. I managed to sample three of the dessert wines and was intrigued by this Australian entry. Sauterne-like in aroma and flavor--borders on cloying--enjoyable in small sips. Popular with others at my table as well. (I also tried the Banfi Rosa Regale Brachetto d'Acqui which I have had previously) and a Tokay.

They make a nice Shiraz by the name of OomMoo or something like that. Seem to be a decent producer.

Serve this by the glass. A great little wine at this price point. But we are about to switch to the Chambers muscat and tokai. Of course, it will be thier regular bottlings, not the rare.
