I was sad to learn that Wynn's nice Cabernet Sauvignons from Coonawarra are no longer imported to USA. Then I e-mailed about Irvine Grand Merlot (one of the best Merlots I've had) and they e-mailed back that they haven't had an importer in the USA for the last two years. Now I see that Grateful Palate (Marquis Phillips and other brands) is in receivership and many of the grape growers that furnished grapes to the enterprise have not been paid. Things really seem to be going badly for the Australian wine industry.
