Exactly what I was in the mood for tonight.

A very dark purple color. Nose included black fruitd (berries and currant slightly forward), touch of gameyness and wood. Straight forwward Australian Shiraz. Taste was as per nose with perhaps a stronger wood as it sat in the glass. Texture was rather supple with a big taste and a medium length finish that was just a smidge unbalanced. (just a bit too much Acid and alcohol for my taste but only ever slightly so). Nonetheless worked great with dinner (baked pork chop and rice).

$15.99 per btl
