IK and RAD, 1997 Barbera del Monferrato--about $12. Try it. You will like it, but wait a few minutes after opening it. This one needs a little air.

Such cynicism! Actually, I had tasted it as a sample and will buy it in January. Cannot spend the money now with this stupid regulated payment system in NY.

Did you know that the state liquor authority tells us when we must pay for the orders we place? Yep, the 10th of every month, so if we buy on the 1st we have until the 10th of the following month; if we buy on the 21st we still have to pay on the 10th of the following month; and if we buy on the 31st we have to pay on the 10th of the following month. So, when do you think we do our buying?

Wow, what bizarre rules. Did not intend to be cynical, foodie! Just was wondering if you had it so I could give it a try. One of these days I'll make it to your shop, honest! This week's trip is to the in-laws down South for a week. Plus just got back from Napa and have totally destroyed this month's wine budget anyhow. See you in the new year!

Have a good trip. I will have the Barbera in January--without doubt, unless the distributor sells it all before then.
