'07 Knapp Cayuga Lake Sangiovese

2007 Knapp, Estate Grown, Cayuga Lake, Sangiovese ($16.95 from winery). Alcohol level: 12%. Acidity: 3.45.

We enjoyed the second of two bottles at dinner yesterday afternoon. It gives nice red fruit on the nose and upfront. More fruit, crisp acidity, and a nice medium body courses through the middle, and it finishes pleasantly.

Matched it with pasta in tomato sauce, sausages, and salad. All very nice.
