I have a bottle that says Azienda Agricola Montebelli Fabula 2003.
I am having trouble getting much info on it. I think this is a sangiovese from Tuscany. Any info would be appreciated

The Fabula is indeed mostly Sangiovese, with some Canaiolo. It's the little brother of the Montebelli di Monteregio Fabula di Monteregio Riserva which retails for a bit under $30. The Monteregio is a much, much better wine, far more than the $15 or so price difference.

Thanks, The bottle I have says Monteregio di massa marittima. This is very good, I will look for the big brother next time I'm out. I was at a gathering last weekend and brought this along it went over pretty well, especially with the pizza.I grabbed a couple more bottles of it today. I am suprised how I like this but not the chianti i had about a month ago. I thought I didn't care for sangiovese

Sangiovese is not just a Tuscan grape. You could draw a big circle around the middle of Italy, and just about every red wine would have at least a shot of Sangiovese or more in it.

The Emiglia Romana and Marche regions nearby produce a fair amount of Sangiovese.
