One of the wines sent by Roberto for my party next week. Felt good enough to venture opening a bottle last nite. FWIW my unused taste-buds were put on high alert. Brite sparling clear ruby. Nose of cherries, red plums, and a dose of earth. On the palate the red fruit was intense with the acidity giving the impression of red plum skins without the sweetness of the pulp. Solid entry and middle with a lush mouthfeel. The finish wasn't short but not really long. Great food wine. A solid value at the 9.99 tag. Tankee dere ole Robo-Baby. WW

Got one in a shipment that arrived from Roberto yesterday. Sounds good. Will be reporting on it later.

And, once again, organically grown by nice people. Our #1 wine many days here.

Had our's tonight with grilled fillet steaks over charcoal and mesquite chips, baked potato, and salad. Wonderful!

It is 100% Negroamaro and has to be one of the best wines you can get under $10.

One of an assorted shipment from Roberto for a 'lamb lunch' that we hold quarterly. Decanted for 45 minutes & the reward was a wonderful, earthy aroma & great pairing w/ the grilled lamb. Agree w/ IK...exceptional value.
