1993 Travaglini Gattinara

I was given a bottle to taste. Wonder whether anyone might have tasting notes on this nebbiolo (or Spanna) or information on the producer.

When I was first given this bottle I was hoping that someone on the board could help me with some info on this juice. I am hoping that someone can help me before I drink it. What would be a good food pairing?

"Heeeeere I am to saaaave the Daaaaaaaay!" God I miss Mighty Mouse (and Andy Kaufman!). But anyway, that is a reasonable quality producer working with a REALLY poor vintage, should be correct but light, serve with lighter fare at the beginning of a meal and have a back up ready.
