Needed something for the pasta...

Nice deep purple-garnet with no aging rim. Very typical chianti nose with low amounts of smooth tannins. Good acidity with nice forward fruits, little spicy. Developed over time in glass to display the nice earthiness and a little bit of a bitter lingering sense. Medium length finish. A lot more flavor than a standard Chianti so this was nice.
