2001? I think so. $16. Got this at the Cape to have with lobsters. Powerful floral and grapefruit aroma. Lichees, too, and same on palate. Rather full-bodied, if I remember right. Not tremendously complex, but not straightfoward either. It wouldn't appeal to me every night, but I liked it quite a bit. It worked with the steamed lobster, which we bought directly from a lobsterman who sells them out of his garage.

We love it, and usually keep it as one of our house whites (along with Domaine du Pouy, an ugni blanc) in the summer.

This is one of our favorite summer whites as well. Haven't had it yet this year, but I recall it being very crisp and refreshing, with bright citrus fruit and a nice floral aroma. Not quite sure what lychee is supposed to taste like, but if this is it, I like it.

This wine has moved steadily up in price; I remember buying it for closer to $10 a couple years back.

I bought the bottle in a tourist town (Provincetown) so my price may not be representative of other areas. Sometimes you can try lychee at Chinese restaurants.
