2007 Enrico Santini Bolgheri Poggio Al Moro

With cheese ravioli in tomato sauce with crumbled Italian sausage. New World style with 30% CS, Merlot and Sangiovese, 10% Syrah. Nice nose and color but undefined on the palate - fruit is there, I just couldn't identify it. No sense of place. WS 91 but not in my book. 13.8% alc/vol and $21.49 at Costco. Won't buy again.

Too bad, .. there are too many of these Sangiovese blends that don't act like Sangiovese any more....
