Whooda' thunk " Meritage " in Chianti? This sucker gots 60% Cabernet, 30% Sangiavese, and a mere 10% Petite Verdot. What-ever this is one serious sucker. Neat nose, strong mouthfeel and a solid 4 lapper finish. Seemed like the cab might have spent time in Belle and Barney Rhodes Marthas territory. Solid stuff but maybe a little pricey on todays market at 48 a clatter but a bargain 5 years ago. Nicely packaged. WW

Found a neat stash of these aand opened another for lunch yesterday. This is one serious italian meritage and the nose is developing as I type. With juice like this'un I could get into eyti wines seriously. WW

WW,

These are the kinds of wines that use the moniker, Super Tuscan.

Heck-Fire! I read this as being from our sister city Tuscon. Wondered where they got the grapes from! WW
