I have two dishes that I am looking for pairings for, one is a main and one is a side. Obviously for different meals, however, so I'm assuming people would choose different wines for each of them.
First is green beans with swiss cheese, and second is scallops posillipo (sea scallops sauteed in a light tomato sauce over linguine).
Thanks for your thoughts!

My preferences would be a Sancerre for the former and a Dolcetto for the latter.

Agree on the Sancerre. Not sure what I would recommend for the linguine and scallops dish.

Third the Sancerre! That would also work well with those that only drink red with the scallops. A red on the light side would work for me with the pasta dish, a village level burgundy, a dolcetto is good, a decent Nero D'avola would also be good. The latter two would have a nice acidity for the dish.
