Apparently Montepulciano 85% + Sangiovese 15%. Deep dark purple, stil rather opaque. I was worried initally of the plastic cork (99 vintage so seven years now...). Nice sweet darkfruit, almost like dried blackfruits, good tannic (almost masked by fruit and nice acidity).

Wine is rather dense in flavour but the mouthfeel is not thick. Decent freshness. A hint of black olive. Wine is a bit reserved in nature but opens up with a bit of air. Nice for $12.99. Thanks Roberto!
