Hi i am looking for this wine.......frangolino i belive its make bye saudeo Bauteje i think i am bout sure... my boyfriend had buy this wine over there and would really like to find it again. its a red wine sweet...Thank You

Hi Vdubchica, and welcome to the Wine Board. Only a tiny fraction of the different wines produced in Italy are imported into the U.S. This could be one of them that isn't. We run into this kind of situation all the time. Recommend you look for any Frangolino you can find. That could be quite a task in itself.

Fragolino (the little strawberry) is the dialect name for an American Varietal called Clinton (really!) that is ILLEGALY cultivated all over the northeast of Italy. It is sold like contraband, under the counter, so you are not going to see any legally imported here. Sorry. BUT, check out some Bracchetto d'Aqui or Lacrima di Morro d'Alba for similar flavors...
