2001 G.D. Vajra Freisa, Lange

Colour is pretty pale bright red garnet. Nose is relatively reserved and soft, slightly sweet with violet, light red fruits but felt structured. On the palate, it was nicely structured with a a nice acidity to it, good tannic structure but not overbearing lighter fruits like strawberry but nice serious finish with a hint of stone and coffee. Neat wine, interesting and nice with some cheese tonight.
