2006 Canaletto, Autentico Italiano, Pinot Noir, Pavia ($8.99 Micucci's). Alcohol level: 12.5%.

This is a light red wine, ideal for a summer red on a number of occasions. Gives you raspberries and cherries on the nose and upfront. More fruit and silky smooth tannin in the middle; and a simple finish.

Matched it with grilled pork tenderloin Teriyaki, brown rice, and salad. Very nice.
