2006 Aldo Conterno Printanie Chardonnay

Went to a friends house and he was cooking italian so I brought a few italians

A chardonnay from the very heart of Barolo. I gotta try this one right? It is okay.....okay I guess. Very solid an clean chardonnay with medium density and weight. Focused but not very compelling for me. In all fairness, probably very nice for those that follow his wines but I'm not sure whether he'd make more money selling Barolo from Bussia and Serra Lunga.....my god the vineyards that are used to grow Chardonnay....
