Second from the box from Roberto, and a second hit. Had it with penne lisce with one of my yomato based sauces (lots of garlic). Tasted it before dinner and it seemed a bit thin/austere. With the dinner, it really showed well. I don't know what happened, but the differemce between without food and with food was really dramatic. I checked all over the label and I don't have a clue what's in the wine.

[Botafogo]

It is a 60/40 blend of Organically grown Aglianico and Montepulciano and one of the biggest hits in our store under $20 for years now. Wine is better with food? You might be on to something there...
