50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Cab Franc and 10% Sangiovese.

This was a whale of a deal for this quality. Dark purple in the glass, Modern in style showing currant, blackberry and dark berry flavors with hints of licorice, oak and mineral. Full bodied and showing fine grained tannins throughout, it has a long finish with some stemmy red berry notes. Needs several years to show well and is tasty now needing a couple of hours of decant. I decanted for 1 hour. Paired very well with Osso Buco. 14% Alc/vol.
$13.74 case buy.
