Don't wait ten years on those Brunelli: major hype on a fruit forward, low structure "restaurant" vintage, not built for the ages. The backlash has already started in the pricing. They WILL be great in the next two to four with a big steak...

That's funny, everything I have read/heard says super tight and harsh tannins and wait. Anyone else? Please let me know if you have heard.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way about the 97 Brunelli. The ones produced in the so-called International Style will not last.

How long would you recommend waiting foodie? I was told by my wine guy that it would be a shame to even think about opening them soon. Other opinions would help. I hate saving for too long and then having an "over the hill" dissapointment.
