Because of it's incredibly short shelf life, it is usually DOA on this side of the pond. Have enjoyed them on site.

Must disagree, IK, we have had many nice (and very much alive) examples over the years from Il Taso, Bigi and especially Mottura. The problem in secondary markets is what happens to the wine once it is HERE.
