1998 Antonin Rodet Vielle Vignes Pinot Noir

I don't normally even look at Burgundies, considering them 'way overpriced as a rule. But this one was peddled last week as a "special" at $12.99, so I picked up a few bottles. (That's probably an everyday price anywhere else in the country.) Very bright ruby color with a floral nose, light and soft on the palate, very pleasing finish. Probably a lightweight as PNs go, but very pleasant.
