1998 Sanford, Pinot Noir, Sanford & Benedict Vineyard, Santa Barbara County, $42. Black cherry, plum and toasty oak are appreciated on the nose and palate. Full-bodied and well-balanced, the wine also has sun-dried tomato, raspberry and black pepper notes. Pretty pricy.......
