'07 Clos du Bois Pinot Noir

2007 Clos du Bois, North Coast, Pinot Noir ($11.99 NH Liq Store). Alcohol level: 13.5%. A lovely light Pinot.

It gives you plums, raspberries, and black cherries on the nose and up front. More fruit, smooth tannin, hints of spice, and some noticible oak are in the middle, and it finishes nicely.

We matched it with chicken thighs, rubbed with OO and covered with Penseys' Turkish Seasoning, and grilled over charcoal and apple chips; corn on the cob, and sliced tomatoes with viniagrette.
